Why Pawn Shops Choose PawnEasy Pro

Not a list of features — the things that are different about your week once the book lives in one place. Each one below is something a shop can check on day fifteen, not a promise.

Interest nobody has to defend

The amount due is worked out from the terms the loan was written on, shown on the screen, and printed on the receipt. When a customer argues about a figure eleven months later, you show them the ledger instead of redoing the arithmetic on a scrap of paper.

An article you can actually find

Every piece has a code, a locker and a custody trail from the day it arrives. "Where is Lakshmi's chain" is a search, not twenty minutes of opening packets in front of the customer who owns it.

Dues that chase themselves

Interest due, due today and overdue messages go out from your own shop's WhatsApp number in wording you wrote. Collection stops depending on whether someone remembered to look at the register this week.

The shop works when you are not in it

Roles mean a clerk can take a pledge without seeing the whole book, and an accountant can read every report without being able to write a loan. Every entry carries the name of who made it, so delegation stops being a leap of faith.

A book that survives a correction

A payment taken by mistake is reversed with a reason, and both entries stay. A discount is recorded as interest forgiven rather than cash that never arrived. Nothing is quietly edited, which is the only reason a ledger is worth anything a year later.

Two branches read like one

Loans, articles and collections roll up across branches, and a report can be run for one branch or all of them. Staff have a home branch without being walled into it.

What it costs

One price for the shop, and that is the whole bill

Pawn software is often quoted per licence, per branch or with a four-figure setup fee and an annual maintenance charge on top. Here is everything PawnEasy Pro charges for.

Honestly

What PawnEasy Pro does not do

Worth knowing before you spend an afternoon on it, because finding out in week three is worse.

Bank re-pledge

If you fund working capital by re-pledging your customers' gold to a bank, that leg is not tracked here. The customer-facing side of the loan is.

Auction notices

A loan can be closed as auctioned and the articles leave custody on the trail, but the statutory notice itself is not drafted for you.

A shop cash book

Money in and out of loans is tracked in full. Rent, salaries and the till float are not — that stays with your accountant.

Working with no internet

The books live on the server so every device and your accountant see the same thing. A pledge needs a few seconds of connection.

Silver, watches and general pledges

The valuation flow is built around gold karats and weights. Other collateral can be recorded, but it is not what the maths is designed for.

Accounting and GST returns

Reports export to CSV for whoever files your returns. It is a pledge ledger, not an accounting package.

Try it against your own loans

Fourteen days, every feature, no card.
