What PawnEasy Pro does

One system for the counter, the strongroom and the books. Everything below is in the app and in the web portal, on the same records.

Pledges, start to finish

A guided five-step flow: choose the customer, list the articles with their weights and purity, value them against the day's rate, agree the loan and its terms, then review everything on one screen before the money leaves the till.

  • Gross weight, stone weight and wastage give a net weight you can defend
  • Photographs of each article, taken at the counter
  • The maximum loan is worked out as you type, so nobody over-lends by accident
  • Creating the pledge takes the articles into custody and records the payout

Interest that works itself out

Set your schemes once — monthly, daily or fixed, with grace periods, penalty rates and rounding. Every loan takes a frozen copy of the terms it was written on, so you can change a scheme tomorrow without moving a single existing loan.

  • Interest due today is on the loan, not in your head
  • A payment is split across penalty, interest and principal for you
  • Maturity can be extended when a customer asks, and the change is on the record

Payments, redemption and receipts

Take interest at the counter, accept a part payment towards principal, or close the loan outright and release the articles. Every payment produces a numbered PDF receipt you can print or send to the customer on WhatsApp.

  • The amount to close today is calculated to the paisa
  • Discounts are recorded as forgiveness, not as cash that never arrived
  • Handover records who actually collected the gold, which is often not the borrower

A strongroom you can search

Every article gets a code the day it arrives, a place to live, and an append-only custody trail: taken in, put away, moved, released. Nothing changes hands without a line in that trail.

  • Lockers on the premises, bank lockers and third-party custodians
  • Capacity per location, so a full locker is refused before the gold goes in
  • Search by item code, type or tag; filter by in custody, redeemed or released

Reminders on your own WhatsApp

Interest due soon, due today and overdue messages are prepared for you each night and sent from your shop's own WhatsApp Business number — so the customer sees your shop, and the conversation continues where it always has.

  • Wording you can edit, with the customer name, amount and loan number filled in
  • A schedule you set: which days, which hour, which channels
  • A log of what went out and what it was about

Reports that answer questions

Six reports, each written to answer one question a shop actually asks — what is out on loan, what came in today, what interest has accrued, what is overdue, which customers carry the most, and what is sitting in the strongroom.

And the rest

The things you only notice when they are missing

Staff and branches

Owner, manager, accounts and counter roles, each seeing only what they should. Every pledge and receipt keeps the name of who handled it.

KYC, kept private

Aadhaar and PAN are encrypted before storage and shown back only as their last four digits, to the roles allowed to see them.

Three languages

English, Tamil and Hindi throughout, switchable per person. Receipts print in English or Tamil, in a font that renders Tamil properly.

Phone and browser

An Android app for the counter and a web portal for the desk, on the same books. A loan written on the phone is on the PC immediately.

PDF receipts

Numbered receipts for pledges, payments and redemptions — printable, or shared with the customer straight from the phone.

An audit trail

Custody movements are append-only and payments are never silently edited — a correction is a reversal with a reason, and both are on the record.
